MOORE ARTS MOVEMENT THEATER COMPANY
ln 2003, Anthony & Selentia Moore founded Moore Arts Movement Theater Company in the family room of their home. Neighborhood youth were professionally trained in dance, acting, instrumental music and vocal music. Having been educators in public and private schools for over 20 years, the Moores were well aware that youth needed more arts training beyond the classroom. They began after school training and summer camps. Youth were phenomenally talented and the arts was proven to be a healing force and a positive escape for many. Moore Arts Movement Theater Company - MAM, became well known in communities in Georgia as a powerful, professional training and performance ensemble. The invites started to roll in for many opportunities to perform for prestigious events, original staged plays and television appearances. Moore Arts Movement is honored to cultivate great gifts and talents and give many youth their very first opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.
Because the request for performances and expectation of excellence of Moore Arts Movement Theater Company became so great, it was decided that youth must audition for the company. These youth will be given master classes in various genres of the arts. Parents/family members must also be a good fit for MAM, lending support, flexibility, positive reinforcements and volunteerism to the company and directors.
Youth are also privy to performing arts training classes through THE BIG DREAMS PROJECT, after school and summers to prepare them for Moore Arts Movement Theater Company auditions if necessary.
